Research Program

The Atta-Obeng Research Laboratory advances sustainable biomaterials and environmental remediation through the valorization of biomass and waste streams into functional, high-value materials. Our work bridges materials chemistry, nanotechnology, and environmental science to address pressing challenges in climate action and resource sustainability.

Laboratory members develop hands-on expertise in nanomaterial synthesis, rigorous physico-chemical characterization, and multivariate analysis while contributing to peer-reviewed publications. Prospective students interested in joining the research group are welcome to contact Dr. Atta-Obeng directly.

Waste-Derived Functional Materials
